Freak Show Edit

Today we had a group tutorial in the morning about out personal statements which we have to write for our UCAS forms. We were given some pointers on how to write them;

In the afternoon I went back to editing the freak show with Becki. Today we decided that there are going to be seven edits of the Seven Deadly Sins Show.

We worked on the burlesque act.We still only had the two cameras because the french guy still hadn't given Dom the footage for us to use. This meant that we had the wide shot and the close-up shots. At some points we found it difficult because whoever was on the close-up camera kept on zooming into one of the burlesque  dancers. We found a way around this by using the wide shot then the close-up to show different parts of the act. By the end of the day we had managed to edit the burlesque act, the only thing that needed to be done was to find the music. As before it is difficult to edit because of the change in light because it was all filmed in a nightclub so there was no control over the lighting. This means that sometimes the footage can not be used and we have to find a way around it.
