Long Edit 2

Today me and Becki decided that we wanted to get his edit done.W finished editing the rest of the acts, each taking turns of being in control. We had been given the music beds that we were told to use, however for this edit we had a problem with the outro because we don't have the audio without the music bed. We can't use the outro because the music bed isn't copy write free. More editing had to be done when we put the acts in order, to link the acts up because Dom keeps taking his shirt on and off during the act. We also had trouble with editing out the beer can. We were told not to put any shots in the edit were either of the two performers were drinking. This caused some problems. We had to get creative to be able to edit around it.

Self Evaluation.

During this project I was one of the editors. I hadn't gone to film the show so I didn't know what to expect. I threw my self into the project and was determined to get it done. Sometimes my concentration lacked because of how many edits there were, but I always managed to get my concentration back. Me and Becki worked as a team each taking turns being in control and giving ideas to help the other. This project was one of the harder post-productions that I have worked on. A lot of creative editing had to be done because of the camera shakes and the lighting. We were also told that some things had to be cut out and we had to work around things so that the edits flowed. I think that I did good for the amount of edits that had to be done and for the content that we had to edit. I had to work round things and changed original plans along the way so that the footage flowed and the client was happy. I could have improved by taking control more. When my concentration lacked I took more of a back seat. This is something that I have to work on. However I think that this project had helped me improve on this.
